Whether it’s a therapeutic placement, boarding school search, or school advocacy project,

our Guiding Hand package offers wrap-around support.

Here’s what our clients say...

“When distance learning clearly wasn’t working for my children, I decided to homeschool but had no idea where to start. Rebekah helped pick out the perfect program for my kids, held my hand through everything, and welcomed my million questions! I couldn’t have done it without her, and both of my kids are well prepared for returning to in person education.”

Ways We Can Help

Therapeutic Placement

When your child’s mental health is at stake, life at home feels out of control, or you are just at a loss of what to do: we can help.

We are here to help you navigate the world of therapeutic supports, finding the right resources and programs to bring your family back to healthy.

  • Help you find the right therapeutic supports for your child and family so you can move from feeling hopeless and frustrated to seeing possibilities and positive change.

It can be scary when your child is going down a path that you don’t recognize or doesn’t feel safe. Friends and family can offer support, but truly knowing what type of treatment is right and distinguishing which programs are reputable and effective is a high-stakes process that you want expert help with. From wilderness therapy to residential treatment and therapeutic boarding schools, we can help you make the right choice for your child.

  • Whether you just need some initial coaching and help finding resources or you want someone to walk with you through the whole therapeutic process, we have a package that will meet your needs.

We start by meeting with you and if we can, with your child. We’ll connect with their school and therapists and begin the process of coordinating care. As your child moves through various stages of treatment we stay in your corner, helping with transitions, school plans, and supports for the whole family, including siblings.

  • If your child is struggling with school refusal, depression, anxiety, defiance, or oppositional behaviors, we can help.

At Crossbridge, we are the steady hand in a crisis and the calm voice at the other end of the phone when everything else feels like it’s out of your control. We are here to help you bring your child back to their best self.

School Search

You need help finding the right school for your student where they will feel seen, understood, appropriately challenged, and supported.

We have the expertise and skill-set to find the right pool of supportive day and boarding schools for your out-of-the box learner.

  • Finding the right school for your child can be stressful, time consuming, and leave you wondering if you’ve missed an opportunity somewhere. At Crossbridge, we remove the guess-work, eliminate the hours of scrolling through Google searches and school websites, and guide you through the application process from first inquiry to enrollment.

If you’re not sure whether or not you need to make a change, we can coach you through that, too!

  • Whether you just need a plan and the right resources, or you want someone to walk with you from inquiry to enrollment, we have a package that will meet your needs.

In our initial consultation we’ll work with you to choose the right package for your timeline and budget. Then we get to work! You’ll either walk away with a plan, helpful tips, and list of of schools to pursue or we’ll embark on a full-service journey together designed to take the guesswork out of researching, applying to, and eventually selecting the right school for your child.

No worrying about missed deadlines or nagging your child to write their application essay. We want the school process to be joyful, exciting, and leave you and your child feeling optimistic and whole.

  • School placement packages are ideal for families relocating, applying to high schools, or needing to find a new school at any point in their K-12 education.*

At Crossbridge, we love working with families who know they need something a little different. Your child is unique and we want to embrace all of their quirks, strengths, and needs and find the school that is going to do the same.

School Advocacy

The process of understanding what your child needs and getting a school to support that often winds up being complicated and exhausting. We have decades of experience helping families just like you and the ability to cut through the noise to help you take things one step at a time.

  • From getting a good neuropsych evaluation to setting the right IEP goals, we’ll stay in your corner the whole way, available to answer your questions or troubleshoot any challenges when they come up.

And if your school ends up not being the right spot, we can help you with that, too.

When you work with us at Crossbridge, we’re here for your whole journey, not just one part of it.

  • Whether you are just starting out with the special education process and need help knowing what to do first or have been at it for years and have hit a stumbling block, we have a package that will meet your needs.

Schedule a call today and we can go over the plan that’s right for you and your family.

  • We work with families who believe that there are solutions to every problem, if you’re willing to think outside of the box. We collaborate with your educational team, helping everyone to stay focused on the needs (and educational rights) of your child.

At Crossbridge we believe that there’s no such thing as the “right education”, just the “right for you” education.

We’re here to support you as you lay a strong foundation for your kids to thrive in the world.

We intentionally keep our client roster small to be able to provide the level of service we’ve come to be known for.

We only take on a few new clients every month – we’d love for you to be one of them.

We are the right fit for you if…

  • You need help navigating what’s next and want to do it with someone who brings joy to the process (and hope when things are hard).

  • You’re open to new ideas about how to move forward.

  • You’re willing to do your part of the work when it’s time. (We can do a lot, but transformational change is a team effort.)

  • You’re ready for something new, even if you can’t see what it is yet!

  • Rebekah came along at the just right time in our school search journey which began last spring. After the initial meeting I just knew she was going to be a great fit for our family. We discussed goals and objectives as far as what we were looking for in a school, how the application process works, what to expect along the way and more. Rebekah is extremely thorough and organized. She knew almost immediately and after careful consideration which schools would be worth looking into and learning more about. Many admissions officers we met on campus tours and interviews throughout the Fall and early Winter knew Rebekah, and this was very reassuring. Rebekah was also able to connect with our son in a meaningful way and really got to know him through their numerous scheduled essay writing sessions. Her work with our son on the student essay portion of applications was paramount, it was the one area we were concerned about but her coaching and guidance really motivated him to come up with more details and ideas and in the end his essays came out great, they really captured who he is. We were so organized thanks to Rebekah that my son received two acceptances ahead of schedule which were a wonderful way to head into 2023!

  • Rebekah Jordan has been our educational consultant for six months, helping us navigate through a crisis-filled year during which we placed our middle school-age daughter in wilderness therapy and then a therapeutic boarding school. Her expertise, empathy, and effort on our behalf cannot be overstated.

  • Rebekah and Crossbridge have been the best things to happen to us during a very difficult period. Our 16yo son was struggling with depression and online schooling during COVID when we started looking for alternatives. Things escalated quickly and Rebekah was able to help us navigate a fast-moving situation, vet programs and schools quickly and give us options. When we started, we were thinking of about finding a local or boarding school that was doing in person classes. We quickly shifted--as things at home were getting worse fast--to looking for Wilderness programs and Residential Treatment Centers. It would have been impossible for us to navigate all the programs without Rebekah's in-depth knowledge of not only the programs but the therapists at those programs. She was able to narrow down good programs, with the right fit therapist and availability. It all seemed impossible at the beginning of our journey. Decisions needed to be made in days and Rebekah worked tirelessly to give us great options. Thanks to Rebekah’s guidance and support our son had a transformational experience at a Wilderness Program and is now in a Therapeutic Boarding School. We feel that our son is alive today thanks to the heroic effort by Rebekah.

  • If you need help finding a school that is the right fit for your child, you need to work with Rebekah. Yes, she has the industry knowledge to do the search, but where she sets herself apart from others is the way she gets to know your student and provide you with the information to make the right decisions. We received so much great information after the initial meetings that it really took the stress out of the process for us. Additionally, the follow through for the school year was on point.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Crossbridge does not offer college placement services but are happy to recommend a great consultant for you.

  • You’ll have a Zoom call with Rebekah to determine if we are the right fit for your student and family (if not, we will provide recommendations for your next step).

  • No problem! One of our superpowers is listening to a big information dump and distilling out the important parts and where to go next. We’ll help you figure it out.

  • Super – we’re here for the journey. We’ve shifted gears with clients many times, starting with a therapeutic placement and then transitioning to a boarding school when it’s time or starting with school advocacy and realizing that the school isn’t the right fit so we shift to a school search.

  • We visit an average of 70 schools and programs each year to provide up-to-date, informative details to our clients. The programs are researched and matched with each client and are not just randomly selected.

  • Crossbridge can support you with short-term homeschooling and online schooling. We don’t offer built-from-scratch homeschooling instruction for folks just starting their journey, but we are happy to recommend a great consultant for you.

  • We never receive compensation for placements. As independent consultants we operate by a strict code of ethics and our clients’ needs are our guideposts.

  • NOPE! We’ll provide resources, coach, and support you every step of the way (and can absolutely do some work sessions with your student so that you don’t have to be the heavy), but the words, ideas, and work need to be yours.

  • Absolutely! We are going to work to set your student up for success, learn how to tell their story, and showcase their best, vibrant, and quirky self.

As a family, you have two choices:

keep fighting with a system that is not a good fit for your child, or finding a solution that helps you regain some of the joy of being together.
